Restart Docker command is missing #26238

Type of issue

I can't find what I'm looking for

Description

The Configure logging drivers mentions:

Restart Docker for the changes to take effect for newly created containers. Existing containers don't use the new logging configuration automatically.

What I would expect after reading this paragraph is the CLI command to restart Docker, which for my Linux Mint would be:

sudo systemctl restart docker

But I don't know if this is the same command for MacOs, Windows and other Linux distros. We could have them all (2-3) mentioned here.

Suggestion

Add a code block with one or more commands to restart Docker.
